The purpose of the Duke Women’s Forum in Southern California is to bring together a multigenerational cross section of Duke women to develop educational programming, new opportunities for leadership, networking, and mentorship, and closer personal ties to the university. We welcome all Duke alumnae – of all ages and from all of Duke’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools – to get involved. Learn more about Duke’s Women’s Forum program.

Neighborhood Coffees and Cocktails
Alumnae in Southern California are reinvigorating the Duke Women’s Forum to provide Duke women with opportunities for learning, leadership, networking, mentorship, and friendship. As part of this effort, Neighborhood Coffees and Cocktails were held in four Southern California locations over the course of one week in early May. Nearly 30 alumnae attended, got to know one another, and shared enthusiastic ideas for moving the Women’s Forum program forward. Ideas included organizing discussion groups, book clubs, dinners, volunteer events, mentoring opportunities, and speaker programs on a variety of timely issues. Sincere thanks to our hosts, Julie Rosen Singer ’88 in Cheviot Hills, Christine Moore B'06 in Anaheim Hills, Katherine Allen Smith '03 in Studio City, and Debra Feinstein Beadle '89 in South Pasadena.
