If you are interested in helping plan Young Alumni events and activities - including social events and community service - then the Young Alumni Committee is for you. In the past, the YA Committee has organized tailgates for local Duke lacrosse games, group outings for the Washington Nationals, the annual Forever Duke Party, CAN sports teams, and various community service events around Washington just to name a few. As the Committee gears up for what hopes to be a successful 2009, this is a call to all Duke Young Alumni in the Washington area to get involved with DCW in an easy way.

are so excited to be hosting our watch parties at Rocket Bar! Enjoy great

specials just for Duke alumni with the purchase of a $3 wristband, with all
proceeds benefiting Partners In Education.

Shamrock Fest 2010!
We wanted to notify you of a partnership between Shamrock

and the Duke Club of Washington to have proceeds from sales of Shamrock Fest
tickets to Duke alumni benefit our alumni chapter. If you plan to attend
Shamrock Fest 2010, which takes place at RFK Stadium on Saturday, March 13th, then
enter the promo code GRN4DUKE when you purchase your tickets. DCW will
receive $4 from each regular ticket sold and $8 from each VIP ticket sold so
long as the purchaser uses DCW's promotional code. It's a great way for
you to give to your chapter, and the Capital Alumni Network will have an area
at the event's Tent Row for Duke members.
