The DAA works year-round to engage, connect, and celebrate alumni here on campus, where you live, and, increasingly, online.
-
We keep you in touch with fellow alums for career and social networking through alumni gatherings, affinity groups, and our DukeConnect online networking tool.
-
We offer opportunities to celebrate your love of Duke, ranging from homecoming and reunions events to send-off parties and hoops watches.
-
We provide an array of educational and service opportunities, such as travel to points around the globe, Duke Alums Engage, an online book club, and assistance with the college admissions process for the children and grandchildren of alumni.
- And we help you stay connected with Duke people, places, events, and traditions through the award-winning Duke Magazine, a dynamic website, our Duke Blue Connections newsletter, email notices about events and programs, and our online alumni directory. See more member benefits.
Now we need your help. All of this work requires a big investment of staff, equipment, and other resources, and alumni dues are a crucial source of support. By paying dues (we offer various giving levels to meet your needs), you help sustain all of the programming the DAA offers to add value to your Duke University education and experience.
No other source of support is more important to our efforts on your behalf. Dues payers also receive discounts, ranging up to $25 this year, on some of our most popular events and programs, including Reunions, our Alumni Admissions Forum, and selected educational and social events both on campus and where you live. Thanks for all you do to support the Alumni Association as it works to support you!
Carry the Card
We mailed new alumni cards to all Duke alumni in July, 2011. If we had your address, we sent a card your way!
If you didn’t receive one, please let us know by filling out our replacement card form. You should receive a new card, for free, within four weeks.
You also will want to be sure we have your updated contact information in the online directory of alumni so the card goes to the correct address.
The new card, which replaces any older alumni cards you might have, helps you engage, connect, and celebrate with Duke and other alumni. Learn more about the perks associated with the card.
