Supporting the DAA Supports Alumni in NY

The DAA works year-round to engage, connect, and celebrate alumni here in the NY Metro area.  Starting on July 1, Duke Alumni Association dues has replaced paying local dues, and the Duke Club of New York is now Duke NY, a comprehensive Duke presence planning programming for all alumni, based on a collaborative effort involving all of Duke’s schools, departments, and programs.  By paying your Duke Alumni Association dues, you will not only receive the same benefits you would have received for paying DCNY dues, you will also get discounts for DAA events in Durham (if you travel back to campus), and for other regional events around the world.  By asking for only one dues payment, we also hope to eliminate some confusion that has existed for many years about what dues you might have paid, and which fiscal year you are on.  Starting now, the fiscal year is July 1-June 30, just like it is at Duke.

By becoming a dues payer, you support your local activities and the Alumni Association as a whole.
