To become a DUCC member, complete the Membership & Dues coupon (download the form) and send with your check payable to The Duke Club of Charlotte. Even those persons who are exempt from paying 2010 dues (undergraduate classes of 2009 and 2010) must complete and submit the Membership & Dues coupon to be considered members. The Duke University Alumni Club of Charlotte (DUCC) is a local organization providing the over 3,300 Duke alumni, parents, and friends in the greater Charlotte area with events and activities for their enjoyment and enrichment. The Club promotes social, cultural, networking, athletic, and community service activities for its members throughout the year. Club events are a great way to connect with other Duke alumni, keep up with Duke's changes and achievements, and foster Duke's presence in our area.

DUCC is run entirely by alumni volunteers who organize and staff events to appeal to all segments of the alumni community. DUCC is not funded by the Duke University Alumni Association (which independently requests dues) and relies on annual membership dues to bring event programming and provide networking and service opportunities to the Charlotte alumni community.

Your dues help cover the costs of mailings, subsidize facility rentals, provide security deposits, and permit us to administer our programs for the benefit of local Duke alumni. In exchange for your financial support, DUCC offers dues payers discounts on most events, priority ticketing and preferential seating for events where space is limited, and invitation to "members only" events.
