BABYSITTING and CHILD CARE

The Reunions Office provides several resources for babysitting and child care. Rates vary, and arrangements for sitters must be made directly by class members. Thee Nanny Service -- (919) 341-0911 or NannySrv@cs.com (Patricia Bass, contact); www.nannyservice.com, Parents’ Relief – (919) 567-3030 or parentsrelief@aol.com (Pat Wright, contact); www.parentsrelief.com, offer a variety of options, and should be contacted as soon as possible, as services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check the reunions website for updated information regarding children's programming. Duke University and Alumni Affairs assume no liability or responsibility for any child care services, including the ones listed here.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING

On Saturday of reunion weekend, alumni and their children are invited to run wild in the Kids' Zone, located in Krzyzewskiville near Cameron Indoor Stadium. Kids will have a blast bouncing on the Blue Devil Bouncer, running through the inflatable Obstacle Course, or testing their skills in the Multi-sport Challenge. Children of alumni are also invited to participate in a soccer clinic, a basketball clinic, and/or an all-day sports camp (see below for details). A Kid's Quad will be open from on Friday and Saturday. Parents can hang out and play with their children with the games, toys, and crafts provided, or may leave their children with on-site professional childcare providers from Triangle Nanny Service for a limited amount of time (this service is available on a first-come first-served basis, and is free of charge).

***The events below are representative of common offerings during alumni reunion weekend.  Check back closer to Reunion 2009 for more information.***
